I was in overnight on the 11 and 12 January after a Rt PCNL for 4 renal stones and then again on 1Feb for a LA Flexible cystoscopy and removal of right ureteric stent. On both occasions the care shown to me was exemplary, all the nursing staff from admission to discharge were excellent and made the whole process as good as it could of been. The hospital was clean and efficient Thank you Chelsea and Westminster

Mr Warren is a WONDERFUL surgeon. Professional, friendly, thoughtful, patient, VERY understanding.... and clearly, VERY, VERY GOOD at his job! He has recently done bowel surgery (laparoscopic sigmoid colectomy/left hemicolectomy) on my belovéd. ALL went 100% well with the operation; and after, Mr Warren visited him same evening, despite having been on duty since before 7am … He also visited every day after op … and if he couldn’t due to other operations, one of his team visited. ‘Who’ wants to talk about 'bowel matters' with anyone, let alone a doctor - BUT, I urge you ... don't ignore symptoms - the earlier, the better - for chance of a good outcome. And, if you are lucky enough to meet Mr Warren ... all the better! And finally, Mr Warren has been enormously kind and helpful to ‘me’ as well! As carer, in my opinion, this is very important, too! Thank-you so much, Mr Warren

During my two weeks stay in the hospital due to a very difficult operation I can only have word of praise for all the staff (nursing staff and everybody else) that took care of me. The care was of very high standard, very professional and caring. I thank everybody involved in my care. Thank you Lilliana Siddi

This was my first visit to a hospital as a patient in 50 years. Having read and listened to the daily news for years about how bad things are with the NHS, all I can say is that my experience did not match up to these in the slightest. To start with all the A&E staff were wonderful and within a very short period I knew I was being looked after and in good hands. I spent the best part of a month in the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and feel I can say with authority as a patient that this hospital is absolutely superb. It is extremely clean, I have watched the cleaning staff regularly clean the curtain rails, the struts under the bed and of course the immaculate cleaning of the floor and all other surfaces. The nurses and assistances have amazed me time and time again, with their empathy, professionalism and stamina day in and day out. The doctors and surgeons all very approachable and happy to answer any question. If all hospitals were like the C&W, I don’t believe we would be hearing negative comments in the daily newspapers or used as political football. Sincerely, Daniel Bexfield.

This is a very busy hospital. Staff have a huge workload and can seem a bit run off their feet. However for genuine illness it can't be between. You are treated by world class doctors, head of their fields.

I had an upper endoscopy at Chelsea and Westminster hospital under a GA. this procedure should not have been done unerd GA.According to my medical notes it states by an ODP Andrew Snell quote, i would like to bring attention to the risk of doing this type of procedure with bare minimum of staff x 1 anisthestist x1 ODP , in an isolated area , no phone in room and area not equipped for GA.Needless to say everything that could go wrong went very wrong and i ended up with a large rip to my right lung and a broken front tooth . I spent one week in ICU and two weeks in hospital, all for a simple endoscopy which would only take a few mins while you are awake. They are now trying to hide their mistakes and have no regard for me and the stress that their lies are causing me .
